Description
Rectangular board with beveled top corners. Frame made of baroque ornament (shell, acanthus) executed in bas-relief, in which a plane with the year „1781“. On the left and right the monogram „G / G“. The sign referred to the G. Gaßow carpentry shop at Trebbiner Straße 23 in Luckenwalde.
Provenance
Formerly the Luckenwalde Local History Museum (inv no. IV.87). In April 1945, during the battle for the town, the museum building was destroyed and subsequently looted; only a few objects could be salvaged. Presumably lost during the war.
