Description

An instrument very similar to inventory number II 3 or III 4, brass plate square, L = B = 4 inches (9.5 cm), without sight. On one side engravings "Umbra versa ... Georgius Hartmann Norimbergae faciebat anno 1553" and on the other side "Umb. recta, Umb versa" as well as names of the zodiac are present. Signature: Georgius Hartmann Norimbergae faciebat anno 1553.
