Description
Hexagonal teapot, decorated with six oval enamelled medallions, each with figural depictions; belongs to Ahv 353 to 364 (cups and saucers).
Provenance
Gifted by the Russian tsarina Catherine II to duchess Auguste of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld; her grandson duke Ernest II of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha then gave the teapot and several pieces from other sets to the Ducal Museum in 1878.
