A woman and a man are riding under a fruit-bearing tree. A buzzard sits on her gloved right hand, to the left is a man on foot, he holds a dead white bird in his right hand and a stick in his left. At his left side hangs a sword in a scabbard, and he is accompanied by two white dogs, Behind them are two men, both with long sticks over their shoulders. One of them carries a sword on his right side. In the sky at the top right, a pale grey falcon swoops down on its prey. On the right edge of the picture, behind a tree stump, a pond with young boys bathing on its banks. In the distance, farm labourers are scything the grass, a cart loaded with hay. The distant landscape shows buildings, trees and flat hills. The cartouche within the lower border contains the zodiac sign of Leo.
