Description
The blade is slightly curved and undecorated by Saki-Kane Mitsu (early 15th century). ); handle (tsuka) covered with coarse-grained ray skin, with round knobs as menuki with applied coat of arms and five knobs each in the shape of rice bales; three-part thrusting blade (tsuba) in aoi form; Headpiece (kashira) with fittings and fist strap made of soft dark purple deerskin; the scabbard made of lacquered wood in golden nashiji lacquer with five coats of arms each in hiramakiye; carrying strap made of purple deerskin; all fittings made of gold-plated copper.
