Description
The painting was shown in summer 1925 at Städelschen Kunstinstitut at the exhibition "Ausstellung von Meisterwerken Alter Malerei aus Privatbesitz" with the information "Peter Friderich, unknown German master of the 17th century", description of motif "Still-life: Rabbit, cock, partridge" signed at lower right: Peter Friderich. Measurements given there height 1,138 m, wigth 0,968 m. See also "Vorläufiges Verzeichnis der Ausstellung von Meisterwerken Alter Malerei aus Privatbesitz im Städelschen Kunstinstitut, Frankfurt a. M., Sommer 1925", Catalogue Pos. 82.
