Description
Pagoda-like architecture is built on a square base; Shishi lies on the roof; he carries a globe between clouds, from which the lotus throne rises; a deity is enthroned on it. Total height 50 cm, figure 14 cm.

Acquired in 1911 by Herbert Ginsberg from the firm R. Wagner, Berlin; 1911 - at least end of 1929 Ostasiatica collection Herbert Ginsberg, Berlin; after 1945 no longer in the possession of Herbert Ginsberg; circumstances of loss unknown - a loss as a result of Nazi persecution cannot be ruled out.
