Circumstances of loss unclear: During the persecution-related emigration in May 1939, the art collection and other household effects were packed into lifts and stored at the Sandmann haulage company. However, the transport abroad never materialised. In contrast to the majority of the objects, however, many of them are not recorded in the lists of the "Union" auction house. It is unclear whether they were also sold at public auction in October 1941, sold separately or had already been lost before then.
