Makers' mark JAB, assay mark of Bautzen, date 1734, Bautzen city coat of arms on the cover, 2 cartouches with inscriptions: a) "Peractorum in publicis Laborum Remunerationis quodam monumentum. Da Domine Incrementum," b) "A Senatui amplissimo mihi Joh. Ernest. Scheelio oblatum d. 8. Januar 1734".

Donation by mayor Joh. Ernest. Scheel to the Bautzen city council in 1734; Loss in Leisnig, Bus'sche Kaserne April / May 1945.
