Description
Satinwood writing desk with protruding top and bevelled corners. On square, pointed feet with brass balls. Double doors at the bottom, drawer at the top. Various woods, inlays of Chinese black and gold lacquer panels, framed by inlaid strips. Holland.

Joseph M. Morpurgo Antiquitäten, Amsterdam, purchased by: unknown, 15 Aug. 1929, Hfl. 252.50; withdrawn from the inventory after 16 Oct. 1941 (probably under administrator Jacques Jansen); December 1942, auctioned by Weinmüller, lot 551, buyer: Becker; whereabouts unknown.
