Mounted in a sturdy wooden frame is an elastic chip, the free end of which engages in a cogwheel and produces a rattling or creaking sound when turned by means of a crank. Drivers were equipped with such "ratchets" when hunting.
Provenance
Formerly the Lübben local history museum. The collection was probably transferred to an inner-city relocation site in 1945. Probably lost during the war in 1945.
