Description
According to a survey of Joseph Stieglitz, art dealer in Tel Aviv, 1962-06-26: Family portrait of the sister of the master; according to new insights it's maybe a portrait of the daughter of Matejko, Helena Unierzyska, born Matejków. Painting was made either between marriage with the painter Unierzyskij 1891 and death of Jan Matejko 1893 or is a copy of the authentic portrait by Matejko: Daughter Helena with a sparrowhawk of 1882/83.
