Provenance
Listed in inventory no. 1 of 31 January 1920 as part of the 1924 settlement agreement between the Free State of Saxony and the former royal house which falls to the state as red-checked room inventory; Paintings are listed in numerous rooms on the salvage list of art objects of particular value drawn up by the head of the revenue office Hugo Bahr, and the castle administrator Johannes Bibrach on 6 May 1942. The painting was included in the transport of furnishings to Schleinitz Castle near Meissen on 16 and 17 August 1943; According to the records, it was lost at the relocation site.
