Knee-length portrait of a woman in elegant dark bourgeois costume with white collar and cuffs and golden buttons. Her right hand is placed over the back of a leather-covered chair, her left hand holding gloves. Ruffled curtain at the top. Gold frame. Formerly privately owned in the Rhineland.
