Description
Half-length portrait of Christina Keller, née Loosen; Losen (1650-1686) as a young woman of 27. She is holding a colorful fan in her right hand. She wears her brown hair up in a bun with corkscrew curls to the side. She wears eye-catching earrings and a pearl necklace and bracelet. Her dress has puffy three-quarter sleeves with a lace hem and large black bows. She is wearing a translucent lace overlay over her ochre-colored dress as a shoulder trim.

Provenance
The painting is part of the Keller family's ancestral gallery, the originals of which were stored at Ehrenbreitstein Fortress in Koblenz during the Second World War by the last owner, Dr. Robert Keller (1866-1958). In the family genealogy there is a hint that the painting pendant of her husband was probably stolen, which is why it is reasonable to assume that her painting also lost at the time. Loss as a result of events during the Second World War cannot be ruled out.; Whereabouts unknown.
