Description
41 pieces of pressed leather wallpaper with arabesques and flowers in gold and bright colours. Light blue-green background. With approx. 27 smaller fragments of stripes. Holland?/Italy? Around 1700.
Provenance
Joseph M. Morpurgo Antiquitäten, Amsterdam, purchased in: London (GB), 08.12.1936, lot 310; withdrawn from the inventory after 16.10.1941 (probably under administrator Jacques Jansen); December 1942, auctioned by Weinmüller, lot 724, buyer: Lindpaintner (Berlin?); whereabouts unknown.
