Description
Silver salt and pepper shakers. Octagonal, moulded in many places, with pierced helmet. Charge receipt stamp 7554 (see Rosenberg IV). Netherlands, Maastricht: 5-pointed star.
Provenance
Joseph M. Morpurgo Antiquitäten, Amsterdam, purchased from: Mr Doodeheefver, 25.03.1938, Hfl. 50; withdrawn from the inventory after 16.10.1941 (probably under administrator Jacques Jansen); December 1942, auctioned by Weinmüller, lot 467, buyer: Lindpaintner (Berlin?); whereabouts unknown.
