Provenance
Estate of the painter Johann Heinrich Wilhelm Tischbein; Dr Heinrich Tischbein, Dessau; history of loss: In 1944, the 20 positions were moved to the Solvayhall potash shaft in two boxes at the instigation of the State Conservator. On the basis of the available documents, these 20 objects were transported to the former USSR in box no. 18 in wagon R 694 457 on 24 April 1946.
