Description
on back Label with Inventory no. and Seal; some soldiers and officers rest at a tent in an Italian landscape. A rider on a heavily laden horse is in conversation with a soldier in front of the tent. At a rock in the foreground some soldiers listen to the tale told by their old gray-bearded comrade-in-arms. Some objects, among them a standard and a harness at the right. Behind them, two standing men, one of them wears a big red coat; Encamped soldiers near the ruins of a wall at the right against which a market tent leans. Drinking soldiers in this tent. A group of soldiers and two standing officers at the right before a grotto, a pile of weapons stands next to them
