Description
Zwischen großen Felsenmassen stürzt ein Wildbach nach vorne abwärts. Im Hintergrunde erstrecken sich beschneite Berge, die rechts von Wolken umhüllt sind. Bezeichnet links unten: J. G. Steffan pt. München (Inventarbeschreibung).

Acquired by King Ludwig I from the Munich art association in 1861; work on permanent loan from the Bavarian State Painting Collections in the Gauleitung on Prannerstraße in Munich, lost since the end of the war
