a young cavalier dressed for a trip is about to mount a horse and receives, with his back turned to the viewer, the last admonition of an abbot. A rider is behind them, crying women are at the right. A servant on a horse at the left. Castle-like architectural scenery with columned portico; on back Label with inventory no. and seal
