Description
Elongate case with a heartshaped section with foldable cover. Bottom foldable, therein a mirror and an (empty) locket. Gold, engraved, partly filled with green or blue enamel. At cover, bottom, side walls oval lockets with enamel pictures in grisaille in a greenish hue: in sky of clouds putti, love scenes. Smooth inside, partly padded with red silk. Weight: 50 g, Mark: Inside of bottom: Jb. D crowned, Paris 1767 - 1768, R.6425, Pz. R.6519, J.J. Prevost, 1762 - 1768, Mrz. JJB, R.6715, maybe J.J. Barrier, Mr. 1763 - 1793, at rim a sign with dog head R.6516 and faint stamp
