Description
Renaissance goblet with a convex foot, the node shaped like a baluster. The bowl is divided into three sections by two astragalis rings. The entire surface of the vessel covered with chased ornamentation. The lid is missing. It is highly probable that this is the goblet donated by the von Patow family to the Protestant church in Lübben in 1764, where it was used as a chalice. It is listed in the museum's entry book in 1907.
Provenance
Formerly the Lübben local history museum. The collection was probably transferred to an inner-city relocation site in 1945. Probably lost during the war in 1945.
