signed on the reverse: B. Hoetger

Female head with wavy open hair and inclined right shoulder looking to the left. At the lower edge a garment hem going up to the left shoulder. On the oval base a wreath of birds flying to the right between a stylized band of clouds, stylized flowers and foliage.
