Description
Cylindrical stein [tankard] on a wide bell-shaped base. Double-curved lid with a handle in the shape of a double volute. Berlin work, circa 1650.
Provenance
Probably an excavator or archaeological find. Formerly Museum Neuruppin, former Zieten Collection (entry number: 1080). During the Second World War, parts of the collection were moved to locations including the Neuruppin District Office and have been considered lost since the end of the war.
