Description
The Buddha stands upright. The right hand is in front of the chest. The fingers form the Ahaga mudra; the mudra that dispenses fearlessness. The right arm points downwards and is close to the body. The bronze is covered with a layer of gilded lacquer, which has flaked off in places. The figure comes from a monastery near Phitsanulok, Thailand.
