Description
Oval, foldable cover. Wide golden stripes at rim with ornaments with enamel in white, red, blue and green. Four stretchers with plenty of ornaments. Sufaces made of blueish white metal with guilloche pattern, covered with enamel. At cover an oval picture of a young lady made of ivory; wearing a low-cut dress, a red ribbon in her blond hair. Smooth gold inside. Mark: Inside of cover and bottom: Jb. P crowned, Paris, 1778 - 1779, R.6433, Pz. R.6529, Comptant, 1777 - 1780, masters sign RAb, not at R. Nocq I, 44: R.A. Bailleul, Mr. 1769 - 1791, also R.6530 (dog head) and eagle stamp twice times R. 6595
