Description
Oval, foldable cover. Outside with guilloce patter, covered with dark blue, transparent enamel. Rims and cover mounted with golden stripes with ornaments. Smooth gold inside. At cover inside of a golden frame with ornaments an oval picture made of enamel: A girl reading a letter with Amor. At bottom outside inside a golden frame an oval coil of hair, a cypher above: ABM, mark: At bottom inside and cover: Jb. Paris, K crowned, 1773 - 1774. R.6430, Pz. R.6524a, Jul. Alaterre, 1768 - 1774, Mrz. JD, R.6701, Jean Ducrollay, worked 1754 - 1773, and at rim: R.6542, R.5906
