Provenance
According to HCPO-list: Painting stolen from claimant's mother while in transit between Prague and London. According to claimant, it was intercepted in Bremen by Oberfinanzpräsident Bremen on July 6, 1942. Claimant cites postwar correspondence with US occupation government regarding painting.
