Library collection (Reference library)

The reference library was packed up and transported away together with the original holdings of the collection in 1945. Since the holdings of the Kupferstichkabinett (Museum of Prints and Drawings), which are known to have been stored in Moscow, were returned in 1958 along with engravings from the 18th and 19th centuries from the library of the sculpture collection, it must be assumed with a high degree of probability that the library is located in Moscow.
