History
Household of Dr Hugo and Frida Erlanger, Stuttgart, Alexanderstr. 153, 2nd floor on the right. The Erlanger family fled to Paris in 1939, where their son Dr Fritz Erlanger had been living since 1933. The works of art were either stored with a forwarding agent in Stuttgart or (partly?) sent to Paris in 1939 and from there possibly (some) on to New York to the art dealer (?) Dr Rosenfeld. Whereabouts unknown
