The sheet contains 12 illustrations of Iffland's hunters. The images are uncut with margins and arranged in two rows one above the other. Inscribed lower left: D. Chodowiecki del et fec.

Provenance

Purchased at auction 207 from 30 March to 1 April 1943 at C.G.Boerner by the Chemnitz Municipal Art Collection; lot number 844, whose consignor with the box number R2 (174) was probably the lawyer Günter Hermann Gustav Rosener, who acted as trustee for Jewish property.
