Description
Tin plate, deepened mirror, single engraved line all around on the flag. On the flag another engraving: in a wreath of leaves the curved Latin capital letters FDR, below them the Arabic numerals: 1728. To the left and right of the wreath of leaves in Hebrew square script: יה (the two letters Jud and He, i.e. I/J and H), above jud and he respectively an abbreviation mark.
On the reverse three not clearly legible marks; one of them shows an animal (centaur?) and above it the three Latin capital letters I G I.
Provenance
Acquired by the Museum Uslar in 1984 at the latest, possibly already in the 1960s (or even earlier). Donor (uncertain): Dr. Eggeling, teacher in Uslar
