Stickbild
Provenance
Geschwister Petzold, Wiesbaden; Frankfurt (Main), 1933-1945
The objects have been stored in the museum without it being possible to trace their origin, who brought them to the museum or who the owner is from the available documents. Only the name of the storage location ‘Ettle-Keller’ in the museum gives rise to the assumption that they could be cultural artefacts of Jewish provenance. Wilhelm Ettle was an art dealer/gallerist working in Frankfurt am Main who, as a special representative of the Reich Chamber of Culture, had cultural assets confiscated.
