Waldeck collection; auction at Amsler & Ruthard on 14 February 1887 and the following days, sale to "Eck"; auction at Rudolph Lepke's auction house, Berlin, on 14 March 1905, sale to "Greve"; probably during the war, at the latest since 9 July 1945 until today Lippische Landesbibliothek Detmold, initially handed over in trust by the British Military Government Detmold, since 20 July 1945 officially handed over for safekeeping.
