Backsite: on the canvas in white "5766", stretcher top left in blue "UX R 1/1 °" [Standort Meiserstraße], next in cursive "Caisse" ?, on the stretcher cross an illegible plate [laut Bildakt eine handschriftliche Inschrift: "Ms Sh Siddons / made in .....1802? / by Th. Lawrence, borned 1769 / in Bristol / ... London 1830"], stretcher bottom left label BStGS "Inv.Nr. 12042", crossed Typescript: "Französisch 1820, Damenbildnis", handwritten "Sir Thomas Lawrence, Mrs. Siddons" about it red stamp "Geprüft 1959", stretcher vertical central strut bottom black block letters "Eigentum / uleiter Gie" [vermutlich "Eigentum Gauleiter Giesler"], only protection framework
