Evening sky reflected ochre-yellow in the shallow water below deciduous wood on the left. Reflecting reed strip leads to the half-right to two bathing girls (one sitting) in front of a dark group of trees.

Nr. 12568" at bottom left, also with handwritten dimensions "22. 5 x 46" and Munich number “13108”, next to it in white 149 [the yellow sticker is stuck to the upper edge of the “9” ], below it in red “J. 1244”, below that in black “PR” [Photo Roth]; on the decorative frame at the top centre yellow label of the company hasenkamp [Transporte] for the exhibition “Wilhelm Busch / Orangerie in / Herrenhausen / Hannover”, title: Teichlandschaft, Artist/Lender: Schleich the Elder. BSTGS / Neue Pinakothek / München’ with “Kat 148” handwritten on it, “31 R H 3°” or 31 R 7 / 3° [location Meiserstrasse] in red on the bottom right strut, “13108” [Munich number] upside down in blue on the bottom left strut, “200311” or “20314” in black below it, “# 627” to the right of it, “II 1538/9” in blue in the centre right, also upside down.
