Box with shallow hipped roof and brass fittings, the middle fitting is not original, but an earlier supplement. The figures show hybrid creatures, some half-bird, half-griffin or half-fish, half-bird. On the front two fighting chimeras, with coat of arms shields or masks and sheet tails. The lid and bottom glued label with text: "2149 gekft [gekauft] 1921 / 1 Truheli XIV Jahrh. 1350 ,- / von Tüschler [?] Antiq. St. Gallen / Wappen Liebenfels b. Eschenz."
