Lauw Maands Herdenking, wegens de nieuwbakk Goude Eeuw, vertoverd in Paarde Vygen
Satire on the financial crisis of 1720. The central etching shows a nymph (Pecunia) sitting under a palm tree, being embraced by a satyr (Staartman = John Law), on the left the personifications of the clouds and the wind, on the right coins falling from the sky. Framing with Callot figures. Verses in two columns referring to the Scottish merchant (John Law).
