Donor: unknown, date of receipt: unknown (presumably in 1943), accession number: 1943 G 3034 As an organ of the Jewish communities of Baden, the Supreme Council of the Israelites of Baden was transferred to the "Reichsvereinigung der Juden in Deutschland" (Reich Association of Jews in Germany), which was under the control of the state, and its assets and mobile values were also disposed of by the state. For the Supreme Council of the Israelites of Baden, the loss of the books was clearly a consequence of the Nazi legislation towards the Jewish communities and organisations.
