Description

Fronting a lightly snow-covered mountain range under mostly overcast skies, a footpath leads down the mountainside to the right to the middle ground. Here two other paths meet on the meadow hill. One leads behind the mountain farm rising on the left, the other down to the houses in the valley, from which a dark slope of fir trees rises to the left, obscuring the distant valley basin. Young trees flank the picture in front.
