Description
On the front, the coat of arms of the Vintler family from Bozen, with a gilded silver figure of a grocer below.
Provenance
The drinking horn came from the Kunstgewerbemuseum Berlin in 1958 (as a return from the SU). It entered the collection of the Historisches Museum together with other arts and crafts artefacts.
As things stand at present, the object is not part of the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden holding and its provenance or affiliation to the collection has not yet been clarified.
