Provenance
The farmers' calendar was demonstrably in the inventory of the Munich antiquarian bookshop Ida Halle from at least 1929. Due to National Socialist persecution, Ida Halle was forced to make quick sales below value, including the Bauernkalender to the Deutsches Museum in January 1936.
