Description
Visit of the Doge of Venice to the studio of Titian. High Renaissance hall with staircase leading down through a round arch on the right. On the left Titian stands in front of a painting about four metres high (back visible) and explains the work of art to the Doge standing in the centre of the picture (back view). Behind Titian a couple and a dog observing the situation. Above them a large painting and high arched windows. To the right of the Doge a group of observers, partly standing, partly sitting.
