Finding on the reverse:
Decorative frame with the inv. no. of the art collections printed in black stamp ink at the top left, probably with a rubber stamp; the number "17473" in pencil in the centre, crossed out; the number "211618-5" to the right, crossed out, with "XY III" in red above it.
Right decorative frame strip "40/28" with dark or blue colour (= dimensions), below with the same colour "RMB 306 ?".
Provenance
The painting was acquired on 15 September 1944 at the 491st auction of the Dorotheum Vienna for 770 RM. Nothing is known about the consignor or previous owner.
