In October/November 1943, 50 boxes of unknown contents containing approximately 15,000 volumes were moved to the residential tower in Boberröhrsdorf. According to a report dated 23 April 1945, an attempt was to be made to clear the premises. Whether this actually happened is not known to the Central and Regional Library in Berlin.
