Archival material

The playing card collection was relocated to an Altenburg bunker in 1943. During the dismantling of the Altenburg playing card factory, the collection was treated as a company archive and transported away in 45 crates by the trophy commission in May 1946. In addition to the playing card stock, the inventory books and the inventory file were also transported by the Soviet Military Administration.
