Description
In a simple wooden frame: young woman in rural costume sitting at a spinning wheel with a hand spindle. Displayed in the rural section on the third floor of the former Guben City Museum (cf. Inv. No. 1788).
Provenance
Formerly the Guben City Museum. Parts of the collection were apparently evacuated to Kossar (today: Kosierz) in 1942/43. The part of the collection that remained in Guben is said to have been looted between 1945 and 1948 and has been considered lost ever since.
