Provenance
Dresden Castle, George Building, 1st floor, family study, already before 1899; Listed in inventory no. 1 of 31 January 1920 as part of the 1924 settlement agreement between the Free State of Saxony and the former royal family, which was transferred to the state. The removal of the Wandarme aus Zimmer 304 und 310“ to Brauna Castle on 12 June 1944 is on record; nothing is known about the circumstances of the loss of this object. A loss in connection with the events of the 2nd World War is suspected.
