Description
Silver bowl. Octagonal on foot, with pierced ring, two handles in pierced ornament. The eight fields engraved with allegorical figures and coats of arms in cartouches. Charge receipt stamp 7554 (Rosenberg IV). Netherlands.
Provenance
Joseph M. Morpurgo Antiquitäten, Amsterdam, purchased from the auction house Fred.Muller Amsterdam (NL), on 3 May 1940, lot 220; withdrawn from the inventory after 16 October 1941 (probably under administrator Jacques Jansen); December 1942, auctioned by Weinmüller, lot 458, buyer: Friedrich H Zinckgraf, Gal. Heinemann, Munich; whereabouts unknown.
